Cloud Zombie's Film Cupboard - National Treasure, Push, Gone in Sixty Seconds

Hello All!
Welcome to another instalment of my review section, sorry about the week long wait.

National Treasure
Since childhood, Benjamin Franklin Gates has known that he is decended from a long line of people whose job is to guard a treasure hidden by the Founding Fathers, who hid clues to its whereabouts in the country's currency and on the back of the Declaration of Independence. Now, he has learned of a plot to steal the Declaration, and has only one option: steal it himself. Even if he pulls off this monumental task, keeping the treasure safe is still going to be incredibly hard, especially since the FBI has also gotten wind of the scheme.- IMDB

Oh I do love a bit of Nic Cage!
He may be a wooden actor but there has always been something about him I like.
National Treasure is like Indy, Warehouse 13 and The Librarians have smashed into each other at a 100 mile per hour. It's a fun packed story driven adventure that is fun to watch and enjoy at any age.

I give this film 9/10

Push
A group of young American ex-pats with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities are hiding from a clandestine U.S. government agency. They must utilize their different talents and band together for a final job enabling them to escape the agency forever. - IMDB
Push is like a gritty Xmen movie with with almost an Inception feel. I love this film and I always fell that there should be a sequel about a new set of people with a new story linked to the main plot. If you like mutant film and or super power films you'll love this.

I give this film 10/10

Gone in Sixty Seconds
Car theft in Long Beach went down 47% when Randall "Memphis" Raines walked away from the life. He gets dragged back into it by assuming the job his brother Kip screwed up for stolen-car broker Raymond Calitri: steal 50 exotic cars and have them on a container ship by 8 AM Friday morning, and he got this news on a Monday. With Calitri threatening to kill him and Kip, and the police GRAB unit breathing down his neck, Memphis reassembles his old crew and attempts to pull off the logistically impossible. - IMDB
Oh it's Nic again!
I remember buying this film on video when I was old enough to and I just loved every minute of this film. It has a great soundtrack, a fun story line and some great actors in it. Jolie is incredible sexy and independent in this, she is her own person and could do anything if not better than the rest of the cast.
It's everything I want and it's not 'Fast and Furious'.

I give this film 9/10
