Cloud Zombie's Film Cupboard - Attack The Block, Navy Seals, Turbo Kid

Happy Film Review Day!
More or less every Wednesday I put up film reviews of films I have watched from my very large film collection. Some are good, so are wonderful and some are incredibly terrible!

Attack The Block
A teen gang in South London defend their block from an alien invasion.- IMDB

London Chavs Vs Aliens!
A young John Boyega, Nick Frost and Jodie Whittaker star in this roller coaster of a film. Firstly I think they sold the film into the wrong genre. It really isn't a comedy unless you count the London slang talking because anyone who actually talks like that needs to be taught how to talk properly My Fair Lady Style!
I would say it was a Scifi thriller with some comical elements but not a comedy.

Despite the genre screw up I think it is an ok film that is a little like, The Raid, Dredd, Assault of Precinct 13 and all the other films like that. It is enjoyable and the actors do a good job with the story and the aliens are one of my favourite things about the film.

I give this film 8/10

Navy Seals
During a rescue mission, a Navy Seals team discover that a newly formed terrorist group have access to deadly US built Stinger missiles, and set out to locate and destroy them.- IMDB

Charlie Sheen, Michael Biehn, Bill Paxton!
This film couldn't be more 90's if it tried.
Defiantly a film to check out if you are a fan of top gun and films like that. Some of the plot is questionable but that does not stop it being great fun to watch and dance to the music when something exciting his happening.

I give this film 9/10

Turbo Kid
In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a comic book fan dons the persona of his favourite hero to save his enthusiastic friend and fight a tyrannical overlord.- IMDB

Kaboom Splutter!
This film is perfect for the gore hungry, post apocalyptic loving and retro mad. It is like the 80's and 90's have come back in 2015's Turbo Kid. This film is a huge laugh, has a fun plot and gives you exactly what you have been craving at long last.
Watch it if you haven't!!

I give this film 10/10
