Mira Grant/Seanan McGuire is great at what she does and if you want fantasy, adventure and horror then she's your woman!

I love her Seanan McGuire stuff but Feed was my first book I ever read of her catalogue. The whole bloggers/vloggers verses the undead was something fresh and much needed in the Zombie novel genre.

Despite what the other reviews day on Goodreads, it seems they are afraid of change and one review even berated it for having no sex in it. Not everyone needs to have sex in a book to get thrills from it and I certainly wouldn't say that Mira Grant is a terrible writer, she researches and fact checks everything.

I like the pop culture references and how she uses them as part of the life within the 'Newsflesh' universe, everything has it's name and place. I love the detail that she has gone into when it came to the virus and the testing measures they have to go through to keep the living safe from the undead.

A fantastic read for any zombie/horror fans in need of a change of pace or a new adventure!
